Hanaa Kamel
Many factors combine to make a truly great company. However, at the center of any outstanding organization, whatever its size, you will find its most valuable and important asset - people. Over the last decade there has been a revolution in the workplace. Now that women make up almost half our workforce at tkIS Egypt, the relationship between work and family life has altered dramatically and the world of work must catch up.
Her achievements took Hanaa to another level and with new expectations from tkIS Egypt management team. She was chosen to lead the EPC project for a new propane tanks for our customer EPPC, which was an extension to the existing PDH/PP complex that tkIS realized previously. The project scope comprised two new propane tanks each with capacity of 17,250 m3 and the connection to the existing storage facilities. A lump sum turnkey contract, so full responsibility. During the project the team faced a lot of challenges in the execution, but still they managed to complete it with good results and are currently waiting for the final acceptance.
Hanaa, now 60 years old, managed to have a satisfying work life balance while having raised 2 kids with her beloved husband. When we asked Hanaa what was the main reasons behind your success, she replied:
She says she is also inspired by the quote: "It’s not what you achieve, it’s what you overcome. That’s what defines your career!"
Kudos for Hanaa Kamel
