Prozess
Crushing

The raw material is crushed to the size of coarse gravel.

Interim storage, blending

The raw material is stockpiled or homogenized in blending beds.

Dosing

A dosing device feeds the raw material to the mill in the right quantity and composition.

Grinding
The raw material is ground to the required neness in a raw mill and is simultaneously dried.
Homogenizing

The raw meal is homogenized and stored in silos to be subsequently fed at a controlled rate to the preheater.

Preheating, calcining

The raw meal is preheated and calcined in a cyclone preheater with calciner.

Burning

The raw meal is burned in a rotary kiln at a temperature of approximately 1,500 °C to form clinker.

Cooling

Most of the heat given o during clinker cooling is recovered for use in the production process.

Storage

The clinker store is the source of supply for the cement grinding process.

Grinding

Additives are fed in during the clinker grinding process to achieve the required type and grade of cement.

Storage, packing and loading

The nished cement is transferred to storage silos. Finally, it is loaded into bulk transporters or bags.
