QUADROPOL QMC: Roller mill for cement and blast furnace slag grinding

This mill type is characterised by process-specific flexibility, energy efficiency and high throughput rates.

The roller mill consumes only 50% to 60% of the energy required by a traditional ball mill.

Combining three process stages – grinding, drying and separating – in just one machine, the QUADROPOL roller mill is also a convincing choice due to its simple plant concept.

The QUADROPOL for the grinding of binding agents is equipped with 3, 4 or 6 grinding rollers to suit the selected throughput. Its general structure – particularly the hot gas supply with a gas piping design optimised by CFD, the grinding elements and the separator – has been standardised, regardless of the selected drive concept.

The offered drive options are the classical grinding table drive or the new and patented roller drive, which provides numerous advantages compared to the classical drive version.

The QUADROPOL roller mill also offers the benefits of systematically minimised bearings, seals and hydraulic elements, as well as excellent accessibility to all parts that require maintenance.
