Minimum effect of false air, thanks to our coarse feed valves
Our coarse feed valves have already been successfully in use for several years, serving as an airlock upstream of the mill. We can minimise the effect of false air in a grinding system operated under negative pressure and allow continuous further conveyance of the materials. Our coarse feed valves can be used upstream of different roller and ball mills. In particular, they are successfully used for feeding coarse-grained bulk material such as limestone and coal. As the ducts are heatable, incrustations on the vane rotor are prevented even in the case of highly sticky material. Two different types of coarse feed valves are available, according to the plant and the requirements:
- Coarse feed valve for raw material and slag
- Coarse feed valve for coal

Our decades of experience in the design and manufacturing of coarse feed valves leads to continuous further development. Thanks to the robust design, we are able to offer you a product that has a long service life and requires little maintenance. Different measures, such as the heatable ducts at the vane rotor, or the drive with safety coupling, have been integrated to ensure long-term operability of the coarse feed valves and to minimise plant stoppages. To make maintenance easier, inspection covers and cleaning ports are integrated into the housing.
