Remote condition monitoring (RCM) is a diagnosis service for thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers’s customers. Our Uhde IntegratorTM monitors plant performance and allows the data collected to be sent to thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers by automatic data transfer to be analyzed by our specialists. It is especially attractive for clients who do not have enough manpower to evaluate plant performance on their own. RCM contains the following steps:
1) The customer provides plant data on a regular basis
2) thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers evaluates these data within a defined period of time
3) thyssenkrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers generates a report based on these data and passes this report to the customer. The report contains a performance analysis of the plant, electrolyzers and single elements as well as recommendations for correctives.
The following are agreed on a case-by-case basis during the quotation phase:
- System to supply voltage data, e. g. Uhde EvaluatorTM
- Realisation and frequency of data export
- Structure and content of RCM reports. What information will be provided? What information or recommendations are expected by client?
- Draft reports will be prepared and presented to client for approval
- Frequency of reporting. Monthly is good for new plants (first year), quarterly is generally sufficient for older plants with few changes and experienced operators
