The digital factory
We are one of the world’s leading suppliers of assembly lines for the automotive industry. BIW production lines are our specialty. Thanks to improving computer processing power and advanced software tools we can now plan entire automotive production lines including machinery, robots and handling systems on the computer.
Redox flow: Storage for energy generated from renewables
In the future energy storage systems will be needed to keep the power grid balanced. These systems can store surplus energy, for example generated during periods of strong winds, and feed it back into the grid during calm periods. Redox flow batteries have an efficiency level of up to 80% and store electricity as chemical energy.
