Marcel Fasswald

Chief Operating Officer (CEO)

Professional background:

As of October 1, 2018 Marcel Fasswald is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Industrial Solutions business area, responsible for the Strategy, Markets & Development, Communications, Business Development & Sales, Technology, Innovation & Sustainability and Quality & Business Process Management.

Fasswald joined the board of the Industrial Solutions business area as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on April 1, 2018. Previously he was on the board of SMS group. A qualified engineer, he brings with him international experience from numerous management positions in plant engineering at SMS. Marcel Fasswald started his career in 1995 at Mannesmann Demag Hüttentechnik, which was integrated into SMS group in 1999.

Oliver Tietze

Dr. Oliver Tietze

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Professional background:

As of October 1, 2018 Dr. Oliver Tietze is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Industrial Solutions business area, responsible for Controlling, Accounting & Reporting, IT Management, Commercial Project Support, Compliance and Procurement & Supply Management.

Tietze, who has a PhD in industrial engineering, joined thyssenkrupp in 2005 and has held various leadership positions in the Steel Europe, Materials Services and Elevator Technology business areas. Key duties included the design and implementation of integration, restructuring and transformation processes and performance management. In May 2018 he was appointed COO/CFO Global Project Execution at Industrial Solutions.

Michael Höllermann

Michael Höllermann

Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Professional background:

Michael Höllermann has been CHRO of the Industrial Solutions business area since August 01, 2016. He is responsible for the Human Resources Development and Occupational Safety & Health functions and is reported to by the CHROs of the business units.

Michael Höllermann has worked for the thyssenkrupp Group since 1990, holding management positions in various Group companies. From 2012 he was responsible for setting up the new Regional Headquarters South America as CEO. Prior to that, he was CEO of the thyssenkrupp Forging Group in the Components Technology business area from 2009.
