Dr. Peter Feldhaus
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Peter Feldhaus took over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Industrial Solutions business area on May 4, 2017. He is responsible for Strategy, Markets & Development, Communications, Business Development & Sales, and Technology, Innovation & Sustainability.
Prior to his appointment, Dr. Peter Feldhaus was CEO of the Marine Systems business unit. He previously held the position as head of Corporate Strategy & Market Development at thyssenkrupp AG’s head office in Essen. Before joining thyssenkrupp, Dr. Peter Feldhaus spent more than 15 years with consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he held various positions of responsibility culminating in his appointment as director. During this time he advised the thyssenkrupp Group on numerous projects.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Stefan Gesing joined the Industrial Solutions business area leadership team as CFO on May 31, 2016. He is responsible for the areas of Controlling, Accounting & Reporting, IT Management, Project Risk Controlling, Commercial Execution and Procurement & Supply Chain Management. The CFOs of the business units and regional clusters in the Industrial Solutions business area report directly to him.
Stefan Gesing was head of Controlling, Accounting & Risk at the thyssenkrupp AG Group headquarters in Essen from 2011. He previously held various management positions within the CFO department at Deutsche Telekom AG.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
On April 1, 2018 Marcel Fasswald joined the leadership team of the Industrial Solutions business area in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). He is responsible for Purchasing and Quality Management. The CEOs of the Network of Excellence and the regions Central Europe and Russia (CIS), India, Maghreb and MEA report directly to him.
Previously Marcel Fasswald was on the managing board of the SMS group. A trained engineer, he brings international experience from multiple management positions in plant engineering at SMS. He began his career in 1995 at Mannesmann DemagHüttentechnik, which was integrated into the SMS group in 1999.
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Michael Höllermann has been CHRO of the Industrial Solutions business area since August 01, 2016. He is responsible for the Human Resources Development and Occupational Safety & Health functions and is reported to by the CHROs of the business units.
Michael Höllermann has worked for the thyssenkrupp Group since 1990, holding management positions in various Group companies. From 2012 he was responsible for setting up the new Regional Headquarters South America as CEO. Prior to that, he was CEO of the thyssenkrupp Forging Group in the Components Technology business area from 2009.
