thyssenkrupp combines capabilities in plant technology

Perth, 1 October, 2014 – thyssenkrupp in Australia, part of one of the world’s leading engineering and construction companies, is strengthening its plant technology capabilities by integrating Uhde Shedden, Polysius and thyssenkrupp Materials Handling to become thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (Australia).

thyssenkrupp is strengthening its plant technology business to better service market opportunities. This merger capitalises technological knowhow and unique engineering, design and construction services in chemical, petrochemical and industrial plants with expertise in bulk materials handling and minerals processing.

Australian operations are strengthened through bundling of EPC, delivery and service in hubs in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. This provides a greater ability to manage additional projects with a stronger focus on local requirements.
