Gujarat Granulator
thyssenkrupp uses phosphoric acid technology licensed by PRAYON Technologies, a leading technology provider with more than 130 references worldwide. 5 different processes with di-hydrate and hemi-hydrate gypsum formation are available to suit each customer’s individual needs.
PRAYON Technologies Phosphoric Acids plants operate successfully with a large number of phosphate rocks of various origins and qualities, including the lowest grades.
Multi-compartment reactor for higher yields
The multi-compartment design of the reactor allows flexibility and easy control of the sulfate in the attack section. This reduces P2O5 losses in the calcium sulfate and increases the profitability of the unit.
Optimized agitators reduce power consumption
The CFD optimized design of the agitators improves the mass transfer of the reagent and crystallization conditions. This design ensures that the solids stay suspended and that the liquid layer (reagent) on the phosphate grains is renewed continuously and breaks the foam on the surface of the reactor. This is achieved with minimal power consumption.
Tilting pan filter and belt filter
Depending upon the customer’s requirements, tilting pan filter or belt filter technology is available. The washing efficiency of the Prayon tilting pan filter is among the best on the market. Recent developments in filter technology, such as the “fast-drain” cell, the central valve, inverting track design, etc., have improved the tilting pan filter’s operability, reduced maintenance costs and increased the ratio of filtering surface to total surface.
The Prayon belt filter also offers excellent washing efficiency, low power consumption, an easy-to-clean vacuum box and accessibility of all internal parts.
