As a specialist in the development of high pressure process technology of any kind we can accompany our clients already during the early project phase and contribute to the optimization of the entire plant conception. From the beginning the cross-linking of process technology, design, electrical and instrumentation, own construction permits that questions concerning technical feasibility and economic optimization are taken into consideration. Apart from process design and optimization we especially support our clients during the scale-up by means of evidence-based methods on the basis of results in the lab or pilot plant scale.

By means of well trained and experienced designers we are able to adopt the complete planning of the plant as well as the design and calculation of the most important equipment components like e.g. tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, valves and piping. Hereby, we use the means of modern 3D planning software and apply the finite element method to do stability calculations for plant components. Any planning and design is done on the basis of internationally used standards, codes and regulations.

Knowledge from several sectors is the basis for a comprehensive know-how with respect to materials being used for high pressure technology. Thanks to thorough tests of all materials used, precise calculations and test results obtained in labs and pilot plants potential faults can be detected and eliminated at the outset before they can impair the safe operation safe and continuous operations in the future plant.

Already when raw steel is purchased we pay attention to the best possible quality, since impurities can result in trouble spots. Therefore, we only use sorts of steel of maximum quality, which we exclusively purchase from renowned steel works.

Uhde HPT has gained many years of experience concerning the planning and design of tailor-made electrical as well as measurement and control technologies for high pressure plants and compo-nents of any kind. We offer individually tailored software solutions allowing the implementation of customer interfaces upon request. Well reflected control programming and, if needed, the relevant process visualization provide the prerequisite for safe, efficient and user-friendly operations even after commissioning. The installation of remote maintenance systems helps us support our customers with cost- and time-saving services even after commissioning.

Whether bending, drilling, fastening or final precision machining - thanks to the experience gained over decades in the manufacture of high pressure pipes, tanks, valves, pumps or reactors we nowadays possess well founded material and manufacturing competence.

We achieve uninterrupted quality assurance in compliance with international standards by the consequent inspection of surfaces, bores, wall thicknesses and material volumes, which we already perform in the course of manufacturing processes. Further to that, we make sure by nondestructive examination and destruction tests as well as corrosion tests in independent test labs that the components manufactured by us meet all requirements concerning hardness, pressure, tightness, flexibility and precision.
